Teli developments high-resolution and high-speed Color Camera
for Machine Vision Use

In October 2003, Tokyo Electronic Industry Co., Ltd. (hereafter called Teli) of which the president is Hiroshi Takaoka, started marketing CS6910CL, high resolution color camera. This is the first model in FA market, which can output color images in SXGA size at 30fps.
CS6910CL is developed in response to the needs for color image processing such like capturing high resolution images with high speed. This model achieves high-speed image output at 30fps in SXGA size (1280 x 960 pixels) or in VGA size (640 x 480 pixels).
CS6910CL has the random trigger shutter function, which is indispensable for machine vision use and image processing use.
Camera Link is employed as an interface, which permits the high-speed transmission of captured images to PC by using compatible grabber board and also various control of camera from PC.

Function
High Resolution
High resolution color image of RGB of each 8-bit in SXGA size (1280 x 960 pixels) can be obtained.
High Frame Rate
This model can output the images of SXGA/VGA size with high speed at 30 fps.
Random Trigger Shutter
Random Trigger Shutter, which enables the camera to capture moving images at any given timing by input external trigger signal, is built in.
Full Frame Output
CS6910CL outputs all pixel's data with progressive scanning system even under Random Trigger Shutter mode.
Camera Link I/F
CS6910CL adapts the Camera Link Interface as an interface for image processing device and PC to achieve the high-speed transmission of color images in SXGA (1280 x 960) size at 30fps. Users can control externally various functions of the camera by the communication command of Camera Link.
