Toshiba Teli Corporation participated in the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment (ITE) 2022 held at PACIFICO Yokohama from December 7th (Wed) to December 9th (Fri).
We showcased various products such as high resolution cameras with CoaXPress 2.0, Dual USB3, USB3, and other interfaces, various industrial cameras lineup with different interfaces (CoaXPress, USB3, GigE, Camera Link cameras), and diverse inspection solutions.

Our booth consisted of the following ten sections, each of which is described below;

1. CoaXPress 2.0 camera EX series (New product)

We showcased the EX series CMOS camera with four lanes of the latest CoaXPress version 2.0 CXP-12 interface.

2. Dual USB3 Camera

We showcased a unique Dual USB3 camera with two channels of the USB 3.1 Gen.1 interface.

3. Camera lineup of aspect ratio 1:1

We introduced camera lineup with a sensor aspect ratio of 1:1, which enables the most effective use of the optical system among machine vision cameras.

4. CMOS based SWIR camera (Reference exhibit)

We demonstrated a prototype camera equipped with a TriEye CMOS sensor that enables short-wavelength infrared (SWIR) imaging based on CMOS.

5. Surface Flaw Detection Scope TM with AI inspection software (Reference exhibit)

We showcased an optical solution capable of performing a scratch inspection with a single shot.
A special optical system can display scratches on the surface of plastics in color without post-processing using a PC.

6. Cameras equipped with the 4th generation “Pregius S”

We introduced the camera lineup equipped with the back-illuminated "Pregius S", which is the 4th generation of Sony Corporation's CMOS sensor "Pregius".
Through a demonstration comparing images shot by a camera equipped with the "Pregius S", a CCD camera, and a camera equipped with the second-generation "Pregius", we confirmed that even fine pixels can be captured in high resolution without compromising sensitivity.

7. Demonstration of non-defective product inspection and quantity counting software using RS-CMOS camera BU2006M series (Under development)

We introduced the non-defective product inspection and quantity counting software using RS-CMOS camera BU2006M series.

8. AI visual inspection software; PEKAT VISION (Only for domestic sales in Japan)

We demonstrated scratches inspection of samples, combining the PEKAT VISION deep-learning software from PEKAT s.r.o. in Czechoslovakia and Teli’s camera.

With this software, it is possible to perform the teaching work of the detection target, the learning of the AI engine, the verification, and the tuning in a relatively short time.
