   1. Toshiba Teli celebrated the 70th anniversary since its founding

  Toshiba Teli was founded in 1950 and celebrated its 70th anniversary 
  on October 1, 2020.

  Toshiba Teli started as Tokyo Electric Radio Co., Ltd. when it was 
  split off from the Kobe Factory of Tokyo Shibaura Electric Co., Ltd. 
  that had manufactured marine radio equipment. 
  Thereafter, Tokyo Electric Radio Co., Ltd. was renamed 
  Toshiba Electronic Industry Co., Ltd.

  In 1967, Toshiba Electronic Industry Co., Ltd. merged with 
  Tokyo Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of radio-frequency 
  heating equipment and vidicon cameras, to form Tokyo Electronic 
  Industry Co., Ltd.
  Currently located in Hino, Tokyo, Toshiba Teli Corporation is fondly 
  referred to as "Teli".

  In 2004, Tokyo Electronic Industry Co., Ltd. was renamed 
  Toshiba Teli Corporation after taking over the monitoring camera system 
  business from Toshiba Communication Systems Corporation.

  As a specialist manufacturer of imaging products, we will continue 
  to be dedicated to the component and system solution businesses, 
  leveraging imaging and radio system technologies.

   2. Totally redesigned website !

  We launched a totally redesigned website on October 1 in commemoration 
  of the 70th anniversary.

  The new website has a responsive design to make its pages render well 
  on PCs, tablets, smartphones, and other devices for easier viewing. 

  In addition, the new website provides more extensive information 
  about our products and a cornucopia of case studies and technical 
  documents.

  We plan to continue enhancing our website. So please stay tuned to it.
  Its enhancements will also be reported in "teli TIME".

  delivered by each of our businesses.

  Among case studies on industrial cameras, this newsletter introduces 
  our positioning solution for imaging sensors. 
  We have successfully automated the high-precision sensor positioning 
  and adjustment processes required for the production of industrial 
  cameras, thereby saving labor and reducing product size.
