TOSHIBA TELI Booth at ITE2025

Toshiba Teli Corporation participated in the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment (ITE) 2025, held at PACIFICO Yokohama from December 3rd (Wed) to December 5th (Fri).

We have developed a new platform camera, the “F Series”, built on our core industrial camera line, the “B Series”. At the event, we demonstrated a high-speed camera featuring a USB 10Gbps interface as a new standard.
We also showcased a prototype combining the F Series 5Gbps USB camera - currently under development on the same platform - with LensConnect for enhanced functionality.
The F Series 10Gbps model delivers approximately 2.4 times faster data transfer compared to the previous BU Series, while maintaining the simplicity and stability of a USB interface, making it a highly anticipated solution for high-performance applications.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for all the people who visited our booth.

Our engineer gave the lecture at the International Imaging Seminar held on December 4th (Thu).
The report is published at the bottom of this page.

1. New platform camera "F Series" (Reference Exhibit)

We have developed a new platform camera, the “F Series,” based on our core industrial camera line, the “B Series,” and demonstrated a high-speed camera adopting USB 10Gbps as a new interface.
We also showcased a demonstration combining the F Series 5Gbps USB camera, currently under development on the same platform, with “LensConnect”.

The F Series 10Gbps model boasts approximately 2.4 times faster transfer performance compared to the previous “BU Series”, offering both the simplicity and stability of a USB interface, making it a highly anticipated solution.

2. BG300M Series – High-Performance GigE Cameras Featuring IMX900 Sensor (New)

We conducted a demonstration comparing the field of view and sensitivity characteristics in the visible to NIR range using cameras equipped with Sony Corporation’s latest CMOS sensor “IMX900” (Pregius S 2.2 series): the “BG300MG” (3.1 MP, monochrome model), the “BG302LMG” (3.1 MP, monochrome model) featuring Pregius 3.4 series, and the “BG160M” (1.6 MP, monochrome model) featuring Pregius 6.9 series.

Three types of light source wavelengths were used-visible light and near-infrared light (λ = 850 nm, λ = 1,050 nm)-to allow verification of the sensitivity characteristics of each camera.

3. CoaXPress 2.0 Camera : EX670AMCG-X

We exhibited the “EX670AMCG-X” (color model), a 67MP CMOS camera from our EX Series equipped with four-lane (Quad) CoaXPress Ver2.0 CXP-12 interfaces, and conducted a demonstration of reading text on a smartphone’s internal circuit board using Zebra Technologies’ image processing software “Aurora Design Assistant”, provided by Canon IT Solutions.
By combining the high-resolution images from the EX670AMCG-X with this image processing software, it is possible to clearly capture small characters and codes on the circuit board, pinpoint the position and size of inspection targets, and read them accurately.
Although this demonstration used the image processing software with a CoaXPress camera, it can also be used with USB3 cameras and GigE cameras.

5. Surface Flaw Detection Scope : SFD240305A / Lens Appearance Inspection System (New)

Toshiba Teli's surface flaw detection scope and the lens appearance inspection system produced by Tokai Optical Co., Ltd. can inspect the minute scratches on the specific surfaces.
Surface flaw detection scope takes images through the special optical system (the special filter) developed by Toshiba Research & Development Center, which allows it to display scratches on a glossy flat surface without post-processing on a PC.

Surface flaw detection scope was exhibited at VISION 2024 held in Stuttgart, Germany in October 2024, and won the "VISION Award 2024."

We showcased the surface flaw detection scope "SFD240305A", which excels at inspecting scratches on glossy flat surfaces, along with a lens appearance inspection system that incorporates our surface flaw detection scope.
The demonstration presented a solution capable of performing various scratch inspections, from glossy flat surfaces to lenses and spherical curved surfaces.

6. Hybrid-3D LiDAR (Exhibited for reference)

We demonstrated a hybrid-type 3D LiDAR (manufactured by Toshiba Corporation) that combines the advantages of mechanical and solid-state coaxial systems, a technology that is becoming mainstream in distance measurement.
While maintaining eye safety, the system achieves long-range capability through modularization and high-power projection, enabling measurement of up to 2 million points per second at distances of up to 200 meters. The model is provided with dedicated middleware, making 3D processing simple and efficient.
