   1. Launching a series of industrial color cameras

  In consumer digital camera industry, competition is on to 
  commercialize cameras with increasingly higher resolution.
  Broadcast camera industry needs to provide an output in a format that 
  is standardized for broadcasting. 
  At present, full-HD 2MP cameras and 4K-resolution 8.3MP cameras are 
  commonly used.
  (Some cameras incorporate an image sensor with even higher resolution.)

  However, circumstances are slightly different for industrial cameras.

  >> Industrial cameras that change with the times   
  --------------------------------------------------------
  Previously, industrial camera manufacturers focused on cameras with 
  NTSC or PAL output format for display on televisions, followed by 
  those with a VGA output for display on PC monitors.

  Now that camera videos are commonly captured into PCs, a great 
  variety of cameras are available with different sensor performance 
  and industry-unique interfaces without regard to these formats.

  >> High-resolution camera and lower resolution camera   
  >> that are used according to the purpose of use

  Even the launching of new high-resolution cameras does not make 
  lower-resolution cameras obsolete.
  Since cameras with lower resolution provide higher frame rates 
  (i.e., the number of image frames captured per second), they are 
  used for positioning inspection applications requiring a high frame 
  rate rather than high resolution.

  >> Expanding a rich lineup

  One of the characteristics of industrial cameras is that both 
  monochrome and color cameras are available in various types.

  Not only the progress of sensor technology but also the recent 
  improvements in PC and interface performance have made it easy to 
  process video signals at high speed, leading to the advent of more 
  sophisticated color video processing systems.


  So, this electronic newsletter introduces the latest model of
