Toshiba Teli Corporation participated in the International Technical Exhibition on Image Technology and Equipment (ITE) 2023 held at PACIFICO Yokohama from December 6th (Wed) to December 8th (Fri).
We showcased various products such as high-resolution visible cameras (CoaXPress 2.0, DDU USB3, USB3), SWIR camera, and new imaging solution.

Also, Toshiba Teli won the “Best Booth Award” by vote of visitors.

Our booth consisted of the following ten sections, each of which is described below;

Introducing the exhibition corner

1. Camera equipped with the latest “Pregius S” : BU300MG-TS (Tentative)

We exhibited the sample camera equipped with SONY’s latest CMOS sensor in Pregius S series “IMX900” for the first time in the world.
We exhibited the demonstration comparing with 3.1M pixel "BU300MG-TS" (tentative) equipped with IMX900 (pixel pitch 2.25μm) and the 1.6M pixel "BU160MG" camera equipped with IMX273 (pixel pitch 3.45μm), SONY Pregius 2nd generation. The demonstration shows the difference of the image brightness under the same camera settings.

2. Camera equipped with the 4th generation “Pregius S” : BU805MCF (New)

We exhibited the demonstration comparing the framerate of 8.1 MP pixel “BU805M” series turned high-framerate mode ON and OFF.
The demonstration shows the framerate of BU805M turned high-framerate mode ON will be three times as much as high-framerate mode OFF.

3. Dual USB3 Camera : DDU2607MCF (New)

We exhibited the demonstration comparing the framerate of our original interface “Dual USB3 camera (DDU series)”.
The demonstration shows DDU series camera allows single / dual connection, and the difference of framerate depending on the number of connection channel.

4. CoaXPress 2.0 Camera : EX370BMG-X (New)

We exhibited the demonstration to enlarge wiring pattern on wafer by 37.7 MP CMOS Camera "EX370BMG-X" equipped with the latest CoaXPress 2.0 CXP-12 Quad.
The demonstration shows high-resolution image on 4K monitor.

5. Camera lineup of aspect ratio 1:1

We introduced a line-up of cameras with sensor aspect ratio 1:1. The sensor aspect ratio of EX370BMG-X is also 1:1.
The camera with sensor aspect ratio includes the following models in our line-up.

6. CMOS based SWIR camera (Tentative)

We exhibited the demonstration of SWIR camera equipped with TriEye CMOS SWIR sensor. The demonstration shows how SWIR cameras image the specific objects.

7. Surface Flaw Detection Scope : SFD240305A (New)

We showcased an optical solution capable of performing a scratch inspection with a single shot.
A special optical system can display scratches on the surface of plastics in color without post-processing using a PC.

8. AI visual inspection software; PEKAT VISION (Only for domestic sales in Japan)

We demonstrated scratches inspection of samples, combining the PEKAT VISION deep-learning software from PEKAT s.r.o. in Czechoslovakia and Teli’s camera.

With this software, it is possible to perform the teaching work of the detection target, the learning of the AI engine, the verification, and the tuning in a relatively short time.
